Our story

A rooftop table between the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum.

Grand View Cafe & Restaurant sits in the heart of Giza, minutes from the Pyramids plateau and directly across from the Grand Egyptian Museum. Our open rooftop was designed so every seat looks out on one of the world's most iconic skylines — pyramids on one side, the museum's modern silhouette on the other.

Come for Egyptian breakfast at sunrise, long lunches after your museum visit, or dinner as the pyramids light up at night. We've set the table for you.

Our kitchen

Egyptian flavors, world-class hospitality.

Our chefs cook the Egypt they grew up in — molokhia, koshari, grilled kebabs, fresh mezze and slow-cooked tagines — alongside Mediterranean and international dishes for every table.

The cafe pours proper Arabic coffee, specialty espresso, fresh juices and traditional Egyptian teas, from sunrise until late.

The view

In the shadow of the Pyramids.

From our rooftop you look straight onto the Great Pyramids of Giza on one side, and the sweeping glass facade of the Grand Egyptian Museum on the other. Few tables in the world share this horizon.

Proudly operated by Hostalio, Grand View Cafe & Restaurant is where travelers, families and locals gather to eat, sip Arabic coffee, and watch Egypt's most famous skyline change with the light.
